doru
Hi guys, Do you know if the LGT comes with a larger spare wheel than the regular Legacy? Do you know of a spare wheel that will fit over sti calipers and work on Legacy/Outback 5x100 bolt pattern? I'm trying to find a spare wheel that will fit over ATS brakes in front. My 17" spare does fit with a 20, 22, or 25mm spacer but the clearance is very tight at the top of the ATS caliper. So either I find a spare that will have better clearance or even better a spare that works without the spacer so the offset is not changed. Any ideas? Thanks P.S. I'm not looking for full spare size! Notorious
I’d have to imagine the spare tire from an STI would work right? Usually you’d move the flat tire to the rear anyways and put the spare there.
doru
AFAIK sti has 5x114.3mm bolt pattern. Doing the rear wheel dance is no fun in the snow/rain and definitely not something wife or daughter will want to do. doru
Thanks. I'll look for a spare for 04.
Notorious
The two wheel swap dance is a bother but it’s a lot safer to have a full sized tire in the front for turning purposes, even more especially in the snow and rain. Just my two cents.
