napsfan
Wondering if I'm doing something wrong, or if this is a software bug. Only had my new Legacy for 48 hrs, but 2 or 3 times already, my audio Equalizer settings have been reset back to default (flat). Annoying. That happened once in a while (every couple months?) on my 2015, but twice in 2 days is not a good trend. Anyone else experience this? Or know of something I'm just being dense about? Thanks. Stuff
Fortunately or unfortunately it is a known issue. See https://www.subaruoutback.org/threads/sound-preference-constantly-resetting-to-factory-settings.517239/
napsfan
Fortunately or unfortunately it is a known issue. See https://www.subaruoutback.org/threads/sound-preference-constantly-resetting-to-factory-settings.517239/ Thanks. That's a good reference. Certainly seems to be something that could be fixed with an Infotainment software update as was implied over there. We'll see if that actually happens, but one can hope
Famduke
So, that used to happen to me and then I learned that if I switched FOBS, and the other FOB wasn't programmed for the sound settings, everything went back to zero and I had to reset. It drove me nuts until someone on this site provided an idea. Program your settings using both FOBS and see if it stays. I did that and no more problems. Blackbr
I’ve only ever used one fob and my EQ settings drop. We set up a second driver profile for my wife, I wonder if the car switching to her and then to me breaks the EQ.
