GhiaAddict
Year, Make and Model: 2012 Subaru Legacy 3.6R Limited Color: Ruby Red Metallic Miles: ~160k Transmission: Auto 5EAT Title: Clear Lien: No Lien Location: (City, State) Kissimmee, FL VIN: 4S3BMEL61C2023550 Seller's email address: omarm007@yahoo.com Asking Price: $5,999.00 2-Owner, CarFax Guaranteed. 160K miles on chassis. OEM Subaru Shortblock installed by Subaru at 114K miles. Limited Model - Leather, PWR Everything, Power Sunroof, Harmon Kardon 560-watt DVD/NAV System. Has some upgrades for the overall benefit of the vehicle. - OEM 13-14 Black Housing Headlamps - Eibach Pro-Kit (1") Springs w/ KYB Strut Replacements w/ KYB Tophats - Megan Racing Adj. Rear Sway bar w/ Kartboy Endlinks - Hawk Sector9 Rotors - Hawk Performance Ceramic Pads No longer drive. Bought a new Ford F-150 Ecoboost and this just sits. Price is listed to SELL! I listed it low enough that if you wanted it to be shipped it would still be under $7500. Considering the Shortblock Replacement alone was $5k, I think it is an amazing bargain. These motors are good for over 300K miles. Only reason the shortblock was replaced, was when I purchased the vehicle, I financed it through a Credit Union. They offered a 3rd party Powertrain Warranty for $2k. Had my local Subaru Dealership push it through since it was a Win Win for them. They make out on Labor and Parts. arlia101
Have a free bump for attention, just because I'm browsing the forum, and if I saw this a year ago I'd be flying down to Florida this weekend Good luck with the sale!
hallowground
Could you go into detail of why the short block was replaced? Unless there was damage it makes no financial sense to spend 5k on a short block for a 10k car. Was it leaking? Blown gasket? GhiaAddict
Car has been sold. No reason other than I purchased a 2-year 3rd party powertrain warranty. Had the Subaru tech push through the warranty claim, since it was a Win/Win for Subaru. They collect on labor and parts from Warranty Company. Almost had them replace 5EAT as well.
