SC GT
Rear hip room for both is 51.9" per my carsdirect.com spec comparison. Is anyone willing to rip up their GT and STi to see?
mrstrike
I have the same question for different reasons. Hello Im new here, and thinking about buying. I just test drove the 05 Leagcy GT lim. Great car! but I have a deal breaker... the factory seats. With the lumbar support actually causes pain after 15-20 min. No matter what position the Lumbar is in. However I sat in a Wrx Sport seat (I asssume the same as the Sti) and Halll-E-lua! it feel great. I too want to know if I can get a wrx Sport seat to fit into a Legacy GT lim. ..oh and I want it to have the SRS air bag, matching cleather, and 6 way power. ya know not like im pickey :P thanks cheers chad
Th3Franz
I have noticed the lumbar support issue very slightly in my GT, but I adjust the angle of the seat and it's not an issue. I sat in an 05 STi tonight and those seats were very nice. -Franz The end of a Legacy http://www.youtube.com/th3franz
bemani
I recall reading a Japanese magazine where they put the GT leather seats in an STi (with working power seats), so its got to work backwards, right?
Dr. Zevil
Where is the lumbar adjustment on the driver side seat? Is there one? I thought there was!
Drift Monkey
on the right side of the seat.
Dr. Zevil
on the right side of the seat.
Thanks DM.. I will check that right now.
Dr. Zevil
Wow.. is that a weak attempt at lumbar adjustment. I am correct in assuming that it's just the lever on the inside bolster of the seat? Pretty pathetic. Nice to have but it's not screaming "upscale" to me. :O Oh well, up until 15 minutes ago I didn't know it existed.. can't be too important
Drift Monkey
yup, you found it. not very impressive but eh...
racerdave
It works decent, that's the main thing. And at least it's in the right place... the one in my d@mn Ford Craptour is like in the middle of my back, not in the lumbar area... it's more of a "knee-in-the-back" lever. agctr
Good question about the seat swap, Im sure if you talk to a STi dealer they might be able to tell you. Im going to STi Australia today, so I will ask the question. Adam.
BoxerGT2.5
Then would you do away with the heated seats? Or are the STI seats heated as well? OBAMA......One Big Ass Mistake America!
