gimpydingo
Random (read:dumb) question. I have a 5EAT LGT and from a stop it's a wee laggy until I hit that boost. Mine idles around the standard 700 RPM's give or take. If the idle was brought up to let's say 1000 RPM's in S# would that reduce the initial lag? Considering in a manual you are revving to 1500+ before letting the clutch out. As I said dumb question, but curious.
moral hazard
Would need to double check, but from memory you aren't able to change idle for just one mode. But also since at idle you don't really have any load on the engine, you won't build any boost as 1000rpm will still be in vacuum just like 700rpm is.
