annie1995williams
We have been trying to pin point where the leak is coming from, we have taken off the intake and we noticed oil is pooling up on the driverside by the knock sensor, headgaskets aren't the problem they were replaced with oversized ones 20k ago. Anyone else had this problem? And figured out what it was? Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
Max Capacity
Here's what the top of a ej255 looks like. See that plug just to the right that black hose. I'd look there. 305,600miles 5/2012 ej257 short block, 8/2011 installed VF52 turbo, @20.8psi, 280whp, 300ftlbs. (SOLD). CHECK your oil, these cars use it. annie1995williams
If I'm not mistaken that's where the knock sensor is. Your saying it could be leaking from there??? Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
annie1995williams
are you referring to the plug that's half in the shadow half not? Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
Max Capacity
The plug. But hopefully its the sensor o-ring that's leaking. can you spray the area with some engine cleaner, hose it off and keep a close eye on it. 305,600miles 5/2012 ej257 short block, 8/2011 installed VF52 turbo, @20.8psi, 280whp, 300ftlbs. Fingers crossed it's a simple fix. Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
