KRM
If I'm late to the party on hearing about these, flame on... I'm just curious if anyone has tried them in the legacy or anyone's daily driver car. Any complaints or improvements?
utc_pyro
They are the Ruthenium version of the SILFR6B8 plugs used in the '10+ GT. NGK somehow convinced Subaru that the new tip design was worth while for them to use it as the OEM plugs. I run SILFR6B8's in my '06, didn't notice any negatives at least. Ruthenium is supposed to last longer. No real advantages past that.
covertrussian
I've been running SILFR6B8's in my 2005 LGT for over a year and the are great so far. I tend to not run same plugs more then 50k miles, since other parts of the plug start to wear out too, thus Ruthenium ones seem like a waste of time. 05 LGT 16G 14psi 290whp/30mpg (SOLD) 12 OBP Stock 130whp/27mpg@87 Oct 00 G20t GT28r 10psi 250whp/36mpg 22 Ascent STOCK
KRM
I've got about 15k miles before I go ahead and change my plugs. Generally run the factory ones 50k before swapping them out myself. Price really isn't that much different than the oem iridium, so I'm considering these for the next tune up. Thank you for the info guys
MaasaiWarrior
I just ordered a set, lets see how they do when I get the new engine swapped in. They were cheaper ordered and delivered through rock auto than going to my local supplier for regular NGK Platinum's 08 Spec B, insta: @08_spec_b, 10 SH Forester insta: @shfozzy
