Computron
So I am going to be attempting to do this while the engine is in the car, I have read and looked at covertrussians post and a few others dealing with banjo bolts. My plan was to use a flexible dremel attachment and grind down the drivers side avcs banjo bolt, then using either a ratcheting box wrench or open end crescent to remove with Cam covers still on. My main question is; is this possible? I just need enough of the bolt left to be able to slip the wrench onto it, but is the bolt still too long to remove with the cover on? (I just can't tell with the pictures, to me it looks too long). Assuming it can be removed the way I want to. I believe the AC compressor has to be removed or at least swung out of the way, are there any fluids I need to drain before hand? Sorry to ask so many questions, this car has had so many problems I am trying not to cause anymore myself.
