SubieN8
For the life of me, I can't remember where I saw the fix for this was... ! When cold, and after it's sat a week in the garage ! 2018 3.6r shakes at 70mph. (friend's car) Done it since new (currently at 4,000mi). Tires are properly inflated. Tires are balanced. Tires have been rotated. Tires have no defects visible. Axles have been swapped. Did someone have the steering rack swapped out? Or did new tires fix the issue? It couldn't be flat spots, only after sitting for a week right? I mean mine sits for 2 weeks at a time, and I don't have any issues... So weird! I can't remember what someone did to fix the issue, and I can't find it when searching the forum...
whitexc
Does the shake go away or is it constant? My blizzaks take a few miles to reround/warm up even sitting just one night in the cold. Sounds like a tire issue. Sent from my moto z3 using Tapatalk
SubieN8
Yes, it does go away after several miles. It would make sense that the tires would be the culprit, however mine sits for 2 weeks at a time, and I don't have any issues.
hkshooter
Sounds like tires to me, cold flat spots, goes away after they warm up. Does it still have the LS2s? Mine never had that problem but it rarely sits for more than a day or two. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
waldguy
My LS2s sit for a week at a time and I've never had a problem - usually in the garage though at no colder than about +10F.
ehsnils
Is it always on the same stretch of road too?
SubieN8
Is it always on the same stretch of road too? Good thought, but no. I’m at a loss.
iyalla
Its flat spot on the tires. Try inflating the tires to say 36 psi as a test, see if that fixes the issue.
WILLINH
Even inflate them to
chowser51
Inflate to 38 and double check all lug nuts are centered and tight. Rotors check ok as well?
IcEWoLF
During winter I put all my tires at 36 and no issues so far.
SubieN8
I will ask him to over inflate to 38 to test. Thanks for all the ideas everyone!
Norskie
I ave the same issue on multiple cars, and I blame the common element: Continental tires. I think these have nylon plies which are more susceptible to this issue.
