ABS disconnect winter setup

Recommended Posts

i m reaching to people that know about electrical .

my goal is to use a switch to disconnect the ABS during some situation in winter .

it is too scary too drive sometime in snow storm with the abs .

i usually pull up the fuse , but will like too have something more easy , turn on and off as desired .

the way i thinking is to use a relay to cut the main power of the abs module .

i want to use the switch of the traction control .

but i need to find the wiring also for this switch .

can someone draw me a wiring diagram how to to this .

also what is the interference between abs , brake booster and idle .

it happen that the car stall when i brake hard and keep it in the bottom when abs is disconnected .

If you're pulling the fuse now, just run a wire from each side of the fuse receptacle to a switch and put a fuse in the hot side of the line.

i want to use , if possible , the button of the vdc disconnect , from what i understand the switch send power when you press , it s not an on off switch , so i need a relay , that will be actuated open and stay open , send power again and close . so i dont know wht it s called , and this is what i understand ,i can not be trusted in electrical !
