You would need the Japanese bumper skin, bumper beam at minimum, plus the lower lip piece (OEM Subaru Japan). Also likely necessary would be the foam bumper inserts and plastic undertray (as that will become too long for the new bumper).

Hopefully the talk with FHI will have had a positive impact and all that won't be necessary - all Subaru needs to do is extend the same options available on the Japanese market to the US market as well.

Not holding his breath on that one,

Online, online! I spent mad amounts of time (at least 3 hours!) getting that system working! ;)

No, seriously, online is best, we are streamlining and improving our system around it. Otherwise everything gets all messed up as we pass around pieces of paper, etc., trying to work things out.

Cheers,

Paul and Ross over at AVO are awesome, I'd go through them first and if possible.

That be'n said before I knew any better I worked with Koji over at Japanparts.com to get eyelids shipped from INGS, just expect a day or two between emails from them and it will all be good. Also a buddy ordered mudflaps from them.....showed up in 4 days.....

Thanks Paul. I just ordered the AVO panel filter. Any idea how long it should take to ship and deliver?

I've ordered from them 3 times and didn't encounter any problems. They recently changed ordering procedure to get rid of email exchange and to shorten waiting time but still you have to expect 10 to 15 business days for your order to be shipped.

Paul, Since you guys carry the Beam, do you guys plan on carrying any of the JDM bumpers anytime soon?

thanks

S

To be honest, we can order anything available in Japan, the problem has always been in the shipping. The best, and really, the only cost-effective way is to slow-boat one large shipment to a port in the states, and then ship out from there.

Once we get the American operation going, this will open up a lot more options for larger items (and, realistically, better prices on other items as well).

Cheers,
