Jkinginarmy
Hey guys, Just bought a 91 legacy 2.2 non turbo. So far I’ve changed the oil on it but I’m looking for other maintenance items I should be changing with a vehicle at 124k . I will be changing spark plugs and wires this coming weekend After that it’ll be exhaust work. Anyone have ideas on a good quiet exhaust setup? Also anyone have a good website for these first gen legacy’s with parts? Thanks Joe Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Jkinginarmy
I’m thinking I’m going to need to replace exhaust from headers back. A young kid owned this car so I’m assuming he tried making sound loud. Which it is. Lol Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

waexplorer
Legacy central bbs is a good place for first gen info. I have a 91 LS wagon 327k and a 94 Touring Wagon 160k. Welcome. Other items would be transmission service and diff services.
Legacy Wagon
Is it an auto or a manual? Ball joints CV Axles Inner (if needed) / outer tie rod ends Water Pump Timing Belt / idlers (maybe) Non-interference so you can just run it til it breaks if you want Brakes (possibly new calipers) Remove and clean intake manifold / throttle body Possibly clean and reseal EGR valve It all just depends on how far you want to get with crap. RockAuto is best for disposable parts. You may be about to find some OEM stuff on ebay or bbs.legacycentral.org
Jkinginarmy
Leaked all the oil out of it tonight after driving. Thankfully made it home no problems. I don’t even know where to begin looking.. it’s either the oil pan gasket or above it.... do you guys know what it could be if it’s above the oil pan?
