PhilT
well.. 358 BHP and 334 BTQ for bolt on stage $6000 450hp/411tq stage 1 = $7000 that's not bad.. also with a 3 year warranty Between this, and the EVO that you seem to idolise, why don't you sell your LGT and buy a car that you like ? moviemadness
because the LGT is just as sexy. actually for my next car I was planning to get the MK5 R32, untill they ruined it by only importing DSGs to the states.. and i'm still waiting to see how the EVO X will turn out to become.. but that's not for a few years down the road, so I still love my car. I myself just received my Cobb tranny mount. I have no idea nor the tools to install this, so I'll be doing it at a local shop along with my Cobb bushings.. that will complete my drivetrain stage one. I'll keep ya posted about how I feel about both of em.
moviemadness
ok I just installed the Cobb polyurethane front bushings as well as the Cobb tranny mount. I did notice some more gear noise and slight more vibration in the shifter, but with higher speeds the road noise and speed cancels it out anyway. the shifting in the front gears seems to be a big more of a snug fit, but it doesn't seem to be really noticeable. one thing I did notice though. I smell rubber burning...??
