Scubaboo
So I got STI Brembos on, and they work just fine. I like functional bling and was wondering if anybody made a kit to get bigger rotors to work with the STI Brembos? I'd love to get the 355mm Brembo GT kit rotors on! I'd do the bigger GT rears at the same time to keep bias as good as it looks.
FLlegacy
I think you would have to get an aftermarket caliper to fit a bigger rotor.
moral hazard
I'd agree that you can't go bigger easily with stock brembo calipers. But you can get 2 piece slotted rotors that would be pretty nice as an upgrade in design (but not size ).
BBPeik
I would think that a larger rotor would need different brackets etc. To keep the geometry correct. If you figure it out though please let us know. Any new option is always a good one. My someday I will be done with it thread.
Scubaboo
I would think it would involve brackets that will space the calipers outward to accomodate the larger rotors. I was hoping that with the plethora of retrofit brackets in the market like for the Cadillac CTS-V fronts and the various Brembo rears, someone may have already done this, and I tried looking online for it. That's how I found Dickass brakes lol! Will look for the most common BBK rotor sizes and cost/availability, and if budget permits I will look into it. Or just get my self some stock sized Girodiscs lol!
moral hazard
Time to sell your brembos and pickup the 2019 sti 6 pot ones maybe.
Golferdude1087
Time to sell your brembos and pickup the 2019 sti 6 pot ones maybe. They are SUPER expensive. You can get the same result for a BBK, by getting a corvette 6 pot, for significantly less but also brembo (new year)
Scubaboo
^yep, people still want mad money for them. Some dude at Nasioc is asking $5k for his set lol! Saw another set there asking half that and it's not sold yet. Maybe someday if I stumble on a good deal.
