phillyg
I own a 2005 Legacy 2.5i, and I'm clueless on where to start. I'm a total beginner in the car scene. All I know that my car is kind of bland right now. I looked at the cheap legacy mods thread and it all seems so complicated. Maybe it's just me though. I'm probably going to debadge the car and paint the badges as a start. Any other recommendations on what a beginner could do? (could by interior, exterior, etc). phillyg
Make it look better and do a bit of peformance work (as far as i know the 2.5i doesn't have much room to improve here)
GearJamr
My 06 2.5i had some nice rims and tinted windows. That helped a lot in the aesthetics department. Lowering the car with springs and proper struts will help both looks and performance. For performance, cold air intake and some exhaust mods (catback, headers) are a reasonable start for a NA engine. You can also get into heads and beefing your internals later. I did a much simpler mod - I upgraded to a GT wagon.
