Pilot1226 Posted May 2, 2018 Share Posted May 2, 2018 My 2011 Outback 2.5 CVT seems to have developed cracks in the pipe near where the oxygen sensor connects to (I think anyway) I tried fixing it with Permatex exhaust and muffler Sealant and it lasted for about a week. It appears to be vibrating loose again. So my question is what can I do aside from replacing the assembly for $1000, such as a weld of the pipe or something else. And can you confirm what I am looking at is the oxygen sensor shield or something else? Thanks. Will upload in a sec. doesn’t like iPhone photos.
