1998 Legacy

Recommended Posts

I've been member for a bit on here but never posted much or at all.

Im from Minnesota, I own a silver 98 legacy wagon I've owned it for 3 year drove it for 2.

In that time I have updated the interior to WRX seats front and back. I have even taken the time to change the fabric on the doors to a blue color. On the exterior I did the outback front end swap. So I put the 99 GT hood on as well as the 99 outback front bumper finishing it with the outback fogs lights

Also I did have a failed tampt at 2.5 DOHC swap. Recently put a 2.2 back in it from Kentucky now it runs great again. I've since did the necessary upgrades bushings, struts, tie rod ends etc. Just waiting to find time for an alignment.

I still have tons of questions I hope some of the OGs can answer or lead me in the right direction

I'm struggling to find an exhaust that will fit unmodified I bought an OBX off eBay turns out it was for the 2000-04 legacy.. :/

I will post a couple photos when I get them on photo bucket

I have a '98 wagon also and love it. I've added a '99 Outback scooped hood to mine also and am thinking about the Outback front bumper mod (I have a complete bumper assembly, but it's missing the fog lamps and brackets).
