Ok, so I went overboard (and needed a laugh).. but I seems doable on the Legacy to put some 18x10 rims with some high offsets (more info later).. all I need is a set of Corazon Fender Flares and roll the stock fenders out by 2".. I tested the fitment out tonight, see it: I'll have the rims tomorrow all cleaned up and such and I'll put the rims on the car to see how it looks.. but most likely, it will need fender flares. The picture I have is the rear wheel with 18"x10" with 265/30/18 I think.. (it was dark at my friend's place.. More info on the way, stay tuned..) (this is just a TEST fit, it is ONLY a TEST FIT) Keefe

umm, the suspension did settled down with 2" wheel gap to the fender and sticks out about 1.5" (so a 2" fender flare is needed), but the fender will need be hacked, rolled, and add CF Fender Flares or something to make it work.. something that is NOT in my intention to make this car a wide body anytime soon.. Here are my pics for a lot of rims and tires.. the 3 stacks of tires are all sized 225/45/17 (Left to Right: Falken Azenis, Michelin Pilot Sport A/S, Nitto 450s).. the bare rims are my 17x8 Farhens. All are for sale.. see my thread for more info here: http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/showthread.php?t=603575

The Privat Farhens (the shiny 17"x8" with rivets?) I already dismounted the tires.. so sorry guys.. besides, they are my aggressive racing rims anyways. I doubt it would fit on the legacy (8" wide at 40mm offset).. it would rub the rear fenders cuz of the Azenis tires.. I had to roll the WRX fenders in order for those to work. Keefe

I actually got a good look at an Outback 3.0R sedan today, and the fender flares are applied (adhesive and screws, probably) so with an appropriate front and rear bumper, and a filler panel for the rear doors. I'd try to get 225/40-18s under the outback'd fender flares, maybe 235s at most. Those modular rims seem WAY to wide. Even the tires look too narrow for those rims. The mesh ones look pretty decent, though.
