Captainlvsac
I bought my car, it was stock from the turbo back, with a later model oem STI cat back that had been "customized" to fit. The car sounded great, no drone, not too loud, good rumble. I just got it put back together with a Perrin catted down pipe, and a OEM cat-less up-pipe. Now it is WAY too loud for my tastes. So I am thinking I need to change up the mufflers, or add a resinator or both? I want it to be just a little louder than a stock LGT. I like the wagon sleeper status. CapnJack
I always enjoyed my SPT exhaust. It was a bit louder over stock, but not too loud.
robburns201
If your keeping mufflers just get a resinator and have a shop weld it in... Then go from there..
bermo
I always enjoyed my SPT exhaust. It was a bit louder over stock, but not too loud. I too enjoy my SPT, its the version 2 made by AEM I think? Quality piece. They say sedan only fitment because the tips tuck in a bit with the USDM bumper, but hey are perfect with the JDM bumper.
