K2e2vin
Not sure if a balding tire would cause this since it happened again when driving slow; but last week my ABS light came on(only with the SS error) while driving in the rain on the highway. I stopped and checked to make sure I hadn't hit anything and realized my rear tires are starting to go bad(needs alignment). The light went away after turning the car off but came back on after about 10 minutes of driving...but stayed off after I got home. Yesterday, we had some more rain and the light came on again while on my way to work. My drive to work never goes over 40mph and it came on while just cruising on a straight road. Didn't hit any puddles or anything either. I have replacement tires ready and is going on along with an alignment this weekend...but even playing in the snow with the car sliding everywhere...the ABS light has never come on. Has anyone had a similar issue? I assume it may be an ABS sensor but wouldn't it stay on if that was the case?
relative4
If only when raining, the insulation on a wire may have worn through. Regardless, first step is pull the code.
K2e2vin
Yeah, I've been working on trying to get the light to come back up...or is it stored?

relative4
Yeah, I've been working on trying to get the light to come back up...or is it stored? Maybe, maybe not. Get a scanner that can read ABS codes and find out. If not, have it in your glove box for the next time the light shows up.
