FreePalestine
How difficult is it to change the fuel tank on my 09 legacy? There’s a nut that holds the fuel bump that has been broken, and turns out there’s no other way to replace it
Max Capacity
Just had the tank replaced in my 05 last Aug. The body shop had to drop the rear subframe to get the old one out. I had the fuel fill pipe replaced too. Along with a AEM320 pump and new basket assembly. 305,600miles 5/2012 ej257 short block, 8/2011 installed VF52 turbo, @20.8psi, 280whp, 300ftlbs. (SOLD). Max Capacity
I think it depends on where you live. They did have to cut a whole in the frame to cut out one of the bolts with the nut welded in the frame rail. The nut broke free. When I saw the car up on the hoist, they had a tall jack stand supporting the rear subframe and diff. Parts and labor, right at $1400 plus the AEM and new basket assembly which were replaced in Dec. 305,600miles 5/2012 ej257 short block, 8/2011 installed VF52 turbo, @20.8psi, 280whp, 300ftlbs.
