Since 3rd outbacks don't seem to have any lowering springs in existence, I was wondering if the RS-R F665W lowering springs would fit. On the website they suggest that they would fit an 09ob but I'm guessing that's just the error between model year and manufacturing year as they group it 09-12... I've looked around quite a bit but haven't been able to find information regarding the difference between the 3rd gen ob springs/struts and 4th/5th gen on springs/struts. I'm thinking there's a decent chance they would fit on the 3rd gen struts as the equivalent years of legacy seem to have interchangeable springs. If anyone has any info it would be greatly appreciated, ideally I'm hoping to lower the my obxt ~1 inch and hopefully stiffen the ride up. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
