Beanboy
Noticed for the first time last night some very slight clutch chatter when engaging gears, and when the clutch pedal is fully depressed... Goes away after a few gear engagements. Would say a bearing or bushing, but since it disappears in under five minutes, thinking clutch surface itself? It was raining/35 degrees last night. Will keep an ear on it, hopefully the colder weather to come will make things more noticable. Right now I am the only one that can hear it, hehe. -B -B http://www.standardshift.com
Paradiso
I've noticed this on many cars in wet cold weather. My Eclipse does it first thing in the morning when its cold. Always goes away within a couple of minutes of driving. I've always assumed it was condensation on the clutch plate.
