By end of the video they go through the test done on a 6.7L diesel, where they found ~200rpm faster spool and during spool equivalent of an additional litter of displacement on that big motor.

 

So this does make me wonder if there is some merit to wrapping your headers. Though header wrap is usually much thinner then a turbo blanket. We need a header blanket . Though I believe Perrin does make Up Pipe blankets.
