Anthonyg Posted November 29, 2017 Share Posted November 29, 2017 OK somy 2016 legacy in the morning after I leave my driver way and start to head down the stairs I brake and I hear a loud clunk or click on my right side not sure what it is it ussualy happens in the morning or turning into my driveway but that's about it I thougjt it was the brake caliper spiders but I stressed them no luck anyone else with same prol Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

YeuEmMaiMai Posted November 29, 2017 Share Posted November 29, 2017 apply brake lube to the following areas 1. back side of shims 2. caliper piston where it makes contact with the pad 3. back side of stainless hardware that the shoes slide on 4. caliper ears where they make contact with the pads That will alleviate most of the noise you hear but not all of it.
