How much ticking is normal?

Hey guys new member here. My 05 LGT Limited seems to have a valve tick. I have read several other forums saying that these boxer engines have loud valve-trains. But at what point should a guy be concerned? Seems to be drinking a decent amount of oil as well. Mods done to the car are as following:

 

INTERIOR:

Cobb white shift knob

Redline goods shift boot

Jazzy mod (Aux hookup for oem radio)

Kartboy short throw shifter with bushings

New dash board and steering wheel (oem, previous stuff was very worn and chipped)

Dual gauge cubby pod

Aem digital boost gauge and aem Uego Wideband

Dw65c fuel pump (e85 compatible)

 

 

EXTERIOR:

headlights have been recleared, Reflectors removed and bezal painted black

Foglights have been professionally tinted yellow with clear coat

Taillights have been tinted red and cleared

Ebay front lip

Morimoto front turn signals

Diode dynamic 194 led license plate bulbs

Oem grille professionally painted and cleared

Fortune auto 500 coils with protective "sleeves" around them

Moog upgraded front Endlinks and urethane bushings

 

 

ENGINE:

Ej255 with roughly 70k

Oem 5speed trans replacement with roughly 70k (replace when vehicle had 141k)

Vf52 turbo

Cobb sf intake

Ebay silicone turbo inlet

Sti ant-stumble kit

Tgv deletes (butterfly flaps removed)

Perrin catted downpipe

3inch cat back with vibrant mufflers

Racerx fmic (with heat wrap)

Gfb tms Respons 50/50 bov

Grimmspeed 3 port ebcs

Grimmspeed alt. Shroud

Grimmspeed radiator shroud

Koyo full aluminum oem radiator

If you can post a video of the ticking sound, that may help us more.

 

You can hear the injectors firing so that may be what your hearing.

305,600miles 5/2012 ej257 short block, 8/2011 installed VF52 turbo, @20.8psi, 280whp, 300ftlbs. (SOLD).  CHECK your oil, these cars use it.

It's an all-aluminum engine with the horizontally-opposed layout. It's got solid valve lifters and electronic fuel injection. It's got lightweight pistons with very short piston skirts. You will hear every bit of it but it's nothing to worry about.
