Just bought my 1st Legacy, did I do ok?

Recommended Posts

So I just bought my first Subaru, and so far I love it. The driving experience has been amazing. I can't believe at 40 years old I didn't buy one of these years ago!

I would like to know if you all think I got a good deal?

Its a 2006 Legacy GT automatic, silver, leather no navigation, it has new summer tires just put on and also comes with oem rims, but no winter tires.

It has 306,000km From what I seen in the paperwork and receipts its never been in an accident and always maintained at proper schedule.

She wanted $3600cdn for the car, when I looked it, I could tell it would need brakes, and the A/C was not blowing cold.

I took a gamble and offered her $2000cdn cash on the spot and she agreed.

I figure brakes all round will be $500 and hopefully the A/C just needs to be charged, from my test drive the engine feels and sounds good.

What do you all think?
