subieguy21
Hello all, I have seen several Legacys both on this forum and off with rear diffusers, but for the life of me cannot find any that even look like they would fit. I have a '14 2.5i and I dont mind a little dirty work to make something work, but I would really love to get my hands on one. All suggestions and pointers are welcome! FLlegacy
Go through the pictures threads and find one you like most people list what parts they have used, one for our cars is going to be a custom or very expensive import part.

Humble Rumble
There's a few options that people have made work apart from custom and discontinued stuff. The one FLlegacy linked above (which is actually the one I'm hopefully taking delivery of later today) is the DAMD diffuser, or most likely the clone of it that's available on eBay. It comes with rear bumper side extensions too as a set. http://www.ebay.com/itm/391154930070 http://i.ebayimg.com/images/g/tt4AAOSwll1WzsU6/s-l1600.jpg I also have this generic IKON one bookmarked that another user made work as well. If I remember right, he had to use a bunch of fasteners to ensure a proper fit. http://www.ebay.com/itm/371643748304 Still yet another user made a diffuser from an 11-14 STI work on his LGT, looks pretty alright in my opinion, unique look for sure. http://www.ebay.com/itm/181405359806 http://i.ebayimg.com/images/g/gc8AAOSwGJlZJ1kJ/s-l1600.jpg 2012 Legacy 3.6R Build Thread 5th Gen Legacy BM/BR Body Kit Compendium Thread
DugsSin
Here also http://legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php/group-buy-gladman-performance-fabrication-5th-gen-rear-diffuser-217211.html?t=217211&highlight=Gladman * these do require some good ole fashion hot rodder fabrication to fit. Humble Rumble
^Those have been out of production for a long time though, and are pretty much unfindable unless you buy it off another member that has it. Plus, yeah, as mentioned they all required a bunch of extra fab to fit. One member did a video about the install. GTEASER
Its all looks. Any benefit from a diffuser for our cars would be marginal and you'd never feel it unless you were lowered more than -2" from stock, regularly exceeded 90 mph, had all sorts of custom underbody aero to clean up the air under the car, AND had a properly designed diffuser, which these are not. I am planning on coil overs and about a 2 inch drop in the future for this car. This set up would also let me get the bottom of the car closer to the ground without the wheel sitting too high in the wheel well. I'm not a fan of how it looks nor the impact on camber and function. If I want to get more of an aero effect I might be better off looking for a different rear diffuser to plug in the middle of the other extensions.
