I’m going to see about taking it off and doing a timesert or helicoil. Bhazard. The old engine after I fixed the oil pressure issue lasted me about 2k miles until it blew up. Max Capacity Posted January 5, 2019 Share Posted January 5, 2019 If you have doubt's about doing it yourself, a machine shop could do that for a few dollars. 305,600miles 5/2012 ej257 short block, 8/2011 installed VF52 turbo, @20.8psi, 280whp, 300ftlbs.
