kaluce
I was curious about this. It's well known that stiffer bushings will produce more NVH as a side effect of the material's properties used. Is it possible to minimize the N portion of the NVH that the bushings produce using products like dynamat, and if so, where would be a good place to apply it? RocketOgre
I've put some serious amounts of dynamat and other off-brand sound deadener into cars. You can reduce exhause noise a bit by doing the floors and whatnot, in the door skins/around the speakers helps a lot, but really most tar matting is to make the stereo sound better by stopping the sheet metal from rattling. Especially if you aren't coating everything. A complete package like the one below is as good as it gets for sound deadening. You'll think you're in a new MB if you do everything they say. https://www.sounddeadenershowdown.com/
