So the problem with synchros or whatever that cause the 5MT to be bad, how bad is the problem? Is it being over exaggerated as to how bad the transmission is? I would like a manual Legacy non-gt but worried about the transmission issue. i had a 2009 non-lgt before so im familiar with the cars Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
fahr_side Posted April 8, 2017 Share Posted April 8, 2017 Non-turbo cars don't make enough torque to break the gears in non-abusive driving. Synchro cones don't last forever but using the right fluid extends useful life to a degree few would complain about.
