bdcvg
I misread the dip stick and over filled a bit past the notch. Is this a big deal in a boxer motor?
gimpydingo
I assume oil? If so def not a problem, some people here overfill a bit intentionally with the turbo engines since it will probably burn off.
MilesA
Not really a problem to have a little bit of extra oil, maybe 1/2 a quart or so. The dipstick is so finicky on these cars sometimes it is hard to know exactly how much you have. Better to have just a little too much than let it run low, is my take. bdcvg
Yeah that's what I thought. I started the car, drove 100 ft. to My shop and turned it off. It sit for 10 mins or so and I checked the oil. Dipstick was bare. I put a bit in and it was just under the "F" . Checked the next day and too high. I must not have let the cold oil sit long enough
