MilesA
No damage to the sheetmetal then? You were unlucky, but your bad luck is better than average.
Down Under
Yes tree munching koalas can be fierce!...They often pee on people . Planted that tree in '78...from 8 inches tall then to 60 feet now...but first time it dropped a big branch.. Insurance company fixed it straight away...the Blue Baby is well again. Yes lucky..it could haven a lot worse. Down Under

Down Under
I was pissed...but if it fell six inches further back the car would be an insurance write off - not considered repairable...so yes, good news ending The Insurance company... the RAC...Royal Automobile Club of Western Australia...True It was a motorist club founded to help stranded gents in the very early days of cars( Ladies did not drive then- that is how old it is!) It is now a very modern member based organisation...still does roadside assist but insurance, travel deals etc....Oh, they were very reluctant to insure the Boss (my wife) after she wrote off my 2003 Subi.....coming home from coffee with "the girls". But a good payout meant I had start funds for the Spec B...so I'm sticking with them....
