vinson
Hey everyone, So i recently have had a problem with my legacy it has 298000km and has stopped shifting into any gears where as a few days ago it shifted fine. what i have noticed is that the pedal seems to be alot lighter theres no resistance doesnt feel like im putting out any pressure really. secondly the car does start but even when i put immense pressure on the clutch pedal i still cant go into gears. i find once that it does warm up i can go into gears but the shifter has to be pulled fairly hard almost like shifting a semis shifter. I dont know if whether has anything to do with this but i do live in canada and our current temp is around - 9 degrees. have any suggestions ? Thanks much appreciated !! Max Capacity
FWIW, old tranny's in the 1st gen legacy's had an issue where they would get stuck between gears. I thinking the tranny may need to come out... I guess you have checked the fluid level in the clutch cylinder ? -9F should not have any effect, unless theirs water in the fluids. 305,600miles 5/2012 ej257 short block, 8/2011 installed VF52 turbo, @20.8psi, 280whp, 300ftlbs.
