DWCookster
Needing a replacement headlight or possibly a set. I have one headlight that's got the seal cracked and the plastic that the metal clip sits on to hold the bulb is broken. Passenger headlight gets tons of moisture and water, the retainer clip for the housing that holds that holds the bulb is broken. Stealership wants $417 for one headlight. Anyone got a old stock set sitting around possibly?
DWCookster
Could possibly look into upgrading the headlights to something else if the price is worth it. I been wanting HID's, but too worried about how now everyone is saying to stay stock.

MilesA
You might try posting a WTB notice in the forum classifieds section. People are doing part outs and might see it.
The 2Fiver
The prices vary on EBay so you would want to confirm the condition on something like this http://www.ebay.com/itm/2008-2009-SUBAR-LEGCY-HEADLIGHT-HEADLAMP-LIGHT-LAMP-LEFT-DRIVER-SIDE-/252193285471?fits=Year%3A2008%7CModel%3ALegacy%7CSubmodel%3AGT&hash=item3ab7e4255f:g:kCcAAOSwp5JWXNSC&vxp=mtr
JustCallMeNick
Also check this site out. I've bought a part or two from them. http://sspparts.com/ http://sspparts.com/search/2008/Subaru/LEGACY/headlight/114/yogjeaf Good luck! EDIT: yeah I guess eBay is cheaper... DWCookster
I would rather keep it stock as the rest of the car is stock. I bought Sylvania H7 Ultra Bulbs and they're bright. Only other option I want to add is the fog lights, but been told they're pretty much useless over all option. I just think I need one headlight replacement, but part of me wants to buy two new ones so they match well. I know I can sand down the good one and clean it up, but feel like honestly it wouldn't look the same.
mikeydrives1
Ive had Morimoto HIDs for over 3 years now and no issues whatsoever. (2008 2.5i)
59ctd
Try Depo brand here I think they are close to OEM. Other options too... https://www.carid.com/headlights.html

You can get them pretty darn close if you follow this guide: http://legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php/headlight-restoration-guide-201687.html While a refinished headlight will never be a nice as new if cost is a concern then refinishing following this guide is the next best thing. Though the material cost me approximately $100 so you'll need to factor that into your decision.
DWCookster
Ive had Morimoto HIDs for over 3 years now and no issues whatsoever. (2008 2.5i) On the site and completely confused with these headlights. All the same price just different model numbers. All I'm looking for is pure white that has a stock appearance look haha! This option looks cheaper and gives me an upgraded appearance with better lighting. I like this route better.
DWCookster
I'm REALLY curious....LED Lighting.......how would one go about with going to LED config over HID? Seems not that much more to do! The housing is questionable, do I need to get the projectile housings and then just get the kits for LED bulbs? kent55
I think the only thing required to do to install LEDs or standard HIDs is to drill an approximate 1" hole through the Dust Cover to fit the new wires in.
