hunterkej25d
Does anyone know how to take the tail lights out of a second gen sedan legacy, not the center piece on the trunk the ones on the car that include the turn signals. I know that there's 3 nuts inside the trunk and then you have to get the black industrial putty, i just wanted to know if there was any tips on how to get that crap off? Brighton96
There's not really a trick to it, they are just a pain to break free, there are the 3 nuts and then way too much sealant around it, get a really thin screw driver or some flat flexible tool to wedge between the taillight and the trunk. All you have to do it wedge it between there and work it around the perimeter while applying light pulling force to free the taillight assembly. The glue has a little stretch to it and you'll hear when it starts to come free.
