Winesalot Posted January 15, 2017 Share Posted January 15, 2017 I have an oil leak that I can't identify the source. I have dealt with the dreaded oil separator plate on my 95 2.2 liter but that showed signs on the passenger side and this is on the driver's side. It is washing the lower cross member directly below the driver's side motor mount. It is definitely not the valve cover gasket. Since its only on the driver's side the rear main doesn't make much sense to me. I am hoping someone has had a similar experience and can help me out. Brighton96 Posted January 16, 2017 Share Posted January 16, 2017 It's so caked on there you'll never find where it's coming from, decrease the underside there as best as you can and then monitor for oily wet spots over the next couple weeks.
