GEE-OTTO
My local subaru shop stocks Sachs FWs for 4th gen Legacy 2.5i's but Exedy and Brute Power clutches. After 141K miles on the stocker I am going to replace it as preventative maintenance but wasnt too sure on mixing FW and clutch packs. Has any one mixed and had issues? My logic says Sachs was stock in my 2.5i but Exedy/Daikin is OEM too and Ive never heard of Brute Power.
NORULZleggy
I have sold many clutches and I always recommend matching. If you have the funds see if you can do like a CM FX100 with the stock flywheel. You will love it.
GEE-OTTO
Good to know price isnt a concern as the Exedy set (Clutch and FW) is about $320 from Amazon. Ill look into the FX100
SubOperator
I put Exedy set (fw, clutch disk, pressure plate) from Amazon on son's 05 OB NA. Just make sure you get the right clutch kit. I can post part numbers if you want. I also put TSK1 kit on it just in case. 2005 LGT Wagon Limited 6 MT RBP Stage 2 - 249K 2007 B9 Tribeca Limited DGM - 272K SOLD - 2005 OB Limited 5 MT Silver - 245K SOLD - 2010 OB 6 MT Silver - 205K
