zero260
So I swapped rotors and brackets to the 2000 h6 290mm but used my original calipers with new bolts and hardware. The caliper bolts were really hard to line up and now the calipers are hanging up and I think it's the caliper to bracket alignment, I don't thing the calipers ate letting of the pads. From what I read the swap just needs rotors and brackets? Do I need the calipers to?
whitetiger
what was the purpose of this swap? seems counter productive.
zero260
Besides the issue I have it's supposed to be a straight up swap, and the rotors are almost an inch larger. But if you NEED calipers the lgt swap is better, which I would do instead. I'm trying to upgrade on the cheap
whitetiger
you can buy really cheap loaded calipers and rotors for the LGT from rockauto.
