cerbomark
Is the rear sway bar the same part as the Legacy? Same stock size as Legacy? 19MM would be an upgrade then correct? Thanks
Max Capacity
There are threads about the rear sway bar upgrade on here and over on www.subaruoutback.net Seem to recall its actually a STi rear sway bar. Some with an Outback go for a 20mm bar because of the rear glass weight. 305,600miles 5/2012 ej257 short block, 8/2011 installed VF52 turbo, @20.8psi, 280whp, 300ftlbs. (SOLD). GTEASER
2011-2014 STi RSB is 19mm. 2015+ STi RSB is 20mm. As Max said, I would go with the 20mm bar at an absolute minimum on an Outback because of the extra weight that the wagon has high up in rear. Click the 2009 XTEASER link in my signature to go to my Forester XT build thread. The part numbers for the 20mm STi RSB and bushings are on the first page. It will be a direct fit to your car.
