slowurroll Posted September 21, 2016 Share Posted September 21, 2016 Hey guys, Just curious where those of you who are running HID's, where are you mounting your ballasts? I have a kit to work on installing in the near future and am considering where to put the ballasts. I thought about taking our the battery (drivers side) and filter box (passenger) and mounting them behind them. Dre617 Posted September 22, 2016 Share Posted September 22, 2016 Depending on how much harness length you got, it can be mounted in a lot of places. I had some HIDs on a different car mounted behind the bumper. Unless the ballast dies, you wont need to access the ballast a whole lot. I would do a dry fit first, some double sided foam tape (since it should be easy to remove after) and try different areas Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
