yellowlemon
Pump can still prime but be going out and not giving enough pressure, could also see if putting it to on letting it pump off and on a couple times and if it starts for a little points even more towards pump
Tehnation
fuel pressure regulator? Does the motor turn?
yellowlemon
Yeah the fuel pressure regulator is a common one too! Cobb sells one that I put on mine and it easy but my car was just running rough but still starting
White Knight
fuel pressure regulator? Does the motor turn? Yes the motor turns.
yellowlemon
Try turning the key three or four times to let fuel pump pump without turning the car on and then turn the car on and see if it runs a little bit that might be your fuel pump that's what happened with my car. The fuel pump is still pumping fuel to prime but wasn't pumping enough to keep the car running. When my pressure regulator went out the car was running fine at idle but high rpm's with stall out. Tehnation
tap your fuel pressure regulator, while trying to start it. Also check your fuel pressure. When did you get your timing belt replaced, check your battery terminals as well as alternator?
White Knight
Timing was just done and that is how this mess started(long story). I'll check the battery terminals and how should I check the alternator? I know its bolted on.
Tehnation
there's your sign.... you could have jumped timing! I'd double check the last thing you did to it before it stopped working! Make sure all your timing marks correct, and double check tensioner.
FJuan
^^ Being 1 tooth off the timing mark will cause rough idle, 2 teeth off will case the car to stall out. My wife's balls are delicious.
