scoobyscoodle
I also have great things to say about Performance Shock, they are probably the most competent shock builder I have dealt with. I have the same shocks as OP, just with slightly different rates, they are amazing. I came from RCE T1's.
AutoXCivic
Argh! And the list gets longer. While installing the head studs solvent started coming out of the head gaskets. So off those go to the machine shop to get resurfaced. Car never overheated, so they can't have been completely borked - but obviously bad enough to need redone. Should only add a day or two to the turn around time. Well I shouldn't have any more oil leaks when this is all said and done. This is what I get for buying a Subaru with 160K on the clock and little to no history. Ah well ... such is life.
seanyb505
I know the feels. Mine had 156k. A little preventative maint here, a little new short block build there...mileage is somewhere around 207k now.

And GTEASER likes man toes just as much as Laz 2005 Vader Wagon Material Tests on Ringland Failure Piston I should have held off and purchased a wagon instead of the spec.B

AutoXCivic
Finally got the whale back yesterday. Holy shit boost leaks is bad. Ended up getting a pretty comprehensive refresh of a lot of system Haven't had a chance to really put the suspension through it's paces yet, but initial impressions are fantastic. There's definitely an increase in "road feel" but it's not harsh and the car feels very planted. Haven't gone about adjusting the dampening to dial it in ... I'll wait until I get a better feel for it as is before I start doing that too much. All in all ... it's been a long time since I have yelled "holy shit" in a car. The last time was when I turbocharged my civic. This refresh has made this car that much better.
AutoXCivic
Pics of the new ride height. I'm not sure I like the alignment shop that it got taken to, but I have new wheels being built so I'll deal with that later. Cross caster is off and they obviously were stupid because camber is around -3 LF and -1.6 RF. Honestly there's no way they couldn't get those even with the adjustments available to them (I asked for -3* up front). AutoXCivic
http://i230.photobucket.com/albums/ee38/AutoXCivic/Mobile%20Uploads/IMAG0150_zps63nnzdi9.jpg Interior conversion nearly complete. Lower on my list of priorities are a new e-brake handle ... haven't decided on which one yet, and a new steering wheel ... this one's a little worn. Perhaps some pedals. It's very odd for me to be paying this much attention to the look of a car and not the performance. Guess that's what I get for getting older. AutoXCivic
Got a new piece for my interior, love the look but it might be a bit of a project to install. Ooooo. It's pretty. http://i230.photobucket.com/albums/ee38/AutoXCivic/Mobile%20Uploads/IMAG0167_zps93auatoc.jpg But the opening is HUGE: http://i230.photobucket.com/albums/ee38/AutoXCivic/Mobile%20Uploads/IMAG0168_zpsgmqqe9ej.jpg I'm not sure how exactly to get this to work. I'm pretty sure the lever itself is much smaller than that. I'm contemplating making some sort of sleeve/insert to secure the handle to that will fit the lever better. AutoXCivic
On a completely related note, any one know the diameter of the metal part of the e-brake lever?

AutoXCivic
So far I'm really liking them almost have enough experience with them to start messing with the dampening. Might wait until after the first couple of AutoX events though ... so I can start getting the hang of this AWD thing.
