Shello007
I know a few of you have experienced this. In the searches, most of you state it has stopped after lubing but mine still persists. The breakdown: The front left Wheel makes a clunk that can be felt through the brake pedal. This only happens at low speeds and maneuvers, and when the brakes are heated. I have taken calipers apart, greased the slide pins and it stops for couple days. Now it's persisting. Any suggestion guys? Can't afford to upgrade to Brembos just yet. TheMonaLisa
I seized 4 front calipers in 3 years, two of those were the OEM calipers. Solution was front Brembos. Never seized a rear caliper, still on the OEM rear calipers with 130k. Sorry I have no advice but I feel your pain. Shello007
Lol, thank you. Funny because after posting that thread I immediately started looking for Brembos.

TheMonaLisa
But rotors have to be changed to STi, right? Yes and only the 04 STI had the 5x100 bolt pattern like we do so you need 04 STI rotors. Some aftermarket STI rotors are dual drilled for 5x114 and 5x100 which would also work. Additionally you will need the bolts to mount the calipers as the threads are different pitch than our stock bolts and you will need STI brake lines as they are longer than our stock lines.
