A_Tang
Went to check on the status of my power steering (which has been going in and out intermittently) and the hood won't unlatch. Seems the cable is still connected on the release level end under the dash. I've tried tapping/push down on the hood to see if the latch is just stuck, but no luck. I've always kept the latch lubed with lithium grease, but I suppose I shouldn't rule out that its stuck. Is there a way to reach from under the bumper cover and pull the latch manually? I can't remove the grille without having hood up and I can't see being able to reach the latch mechanism with long pliers through the openings in the grille. Thanks. Max Capacity
Spray some lube onto the latch and see if that helps.
