I have noticed it a little since it started getting colder out. GTCanada
My non-leather did the same last year. The dealer just tightened the bolts that attach the seat to the floor. If I knew it was that easy I would have done it myself. The problem has not returned. Tom

evams
ahh good deal...least some other people have had some issues. I might try and fix it myself or just take it to the dealer. I was thinking other could be the springs in the seat....

eamiller
My seat is currently having it's frame replaced due to squeaking. It's most prevalent when getting in and out of the car. Apparently, Subaru is aware of the problem. It took the dealership long enough to contact the district manager about the problem. At least it's being resolved. Mine sounds like an old rocking chair, especially lately.. Just go and complain and reproduce the problem for them.
Mblock66
My seat isn't squeaking but I am noticing that the drivers seat outer edge where your left thigh would be against is getting worn awefully fast. There are a lot of creases there and I am starting to get worried that the seat is gonna look like crap by the 1 year mark. Anyone else notice this? Think some cleaning and conditioning will help? Guest *Jedimaster*
Somewhere under the seat squeaks- but the leather itself doesn't. No problem with it rubbing on the plastic either.
eamiller
For all who have a squeaky seat, have the frame replaced. Just got my baby back after having it replaced, and it's silent again (other than the leather sounds)..
