Upper lateral link removal?

Recommended Posts

So I think this is probably the stupidest design. How can I remove this upper bolt/but since it seems like the nut is stripped and over tightened. I used extended spline drive ratcheting wrenches and still cannot budge either side.

Any productive help is greatly appreciated. Can't install white line lateral links without removing these and cannot install just 3 of the 4 since this is the camber adjustment side.

Lol u prob gott drop the subframe

Aand then might need heat or cutting wheel

New bolts

Whatever u do

Dont just start throwing flame at it while its on

Cause ur gas tank is rite above

And try not to damage those flimsy ass pieces on each side cause that would truly suck

Yeah that's what I thought would need to happen which seems ridiculous. It's in a fucked up area too. Should've made at least and access hole or something.

I just went thru the same shit

I finally got to replacing my rear trailing arms with these sweet spec b ones w delrin inserts for the larger front bushing

And while i was doing that i had the other lateral links to replace/upgrade ( megan)

Had the same issue

Bolt was stripped/siezed , camber bolt didnt move

Had to drop the subframe

Honestly when attacking shit like this i prefer to have any bolts oem new on hand

You mine as well imo

The entire set of bolts for everything cost like 50-60$

And you always have the older ones for back up

Id also grab a few cans of pb
