whitrzac Posted August 6, 2016 Share Posted August 6, 2016 Has anyone had an issue with the rear brake pads on the LGT separating from the steal plate and disappearing? I've had 2 different brand brake pads seporate leaving only the steal backer plate on the rear rotors. Calipers are not hanging up and slide freely on the pins. The pads got really hot and just seemed to "unglue" themselves from the backing plates. Both times were on crappy AutoZone pads, though, and twice in ~17 years.
