acdcrockme Posted August 6, 2016 Share Posted August 6, 2016 Posting on behalf of my brother for his 99 outback that is having a misfire on the rear passenger cylinder it's not injector spark plug or head we did a few compression tests and the first was 75 psi then went 150 psi then 80 then 180 for the next 3 has anyone experoenced this before and if so how did you fix it or do you have any suggestions on what it could be Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

twisty Posted August 8, 2016 Share Posted August 8, 2016 ya, id probably check another cylinder with that gauge, that much variation may be the meter, not the cylinder. if it is accurate, id probably look at valves as well. maybe do an air test to see if the valves are opening and closing correctly and fully Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
