Shogun506 Posted June 28, 2016 Share Posted June 28, 2016 Finally finished my TRS retrofit and threw these in there as well. These are excellent in terms of brightness however they're not as flexible as I would have liked. They only bend in 1 direction which makes them a lot less useful in terms of creating interesting designs. This took some creativity to get them to do what I wanted and they are also prone to individual LEDs breaking on the strip. They're also switchbacks but I haven't wired them as such yet. I tried the fat chinese LED tube strips before doing these and they are not recommended. They aren't as bright and take up more more space so they're hard to fit in the headlights. Also the LEDs break easier in those but they are more flexible. Yeah I think that's a camera artifact more than anything because they only look white in person. I've got TRS mini 6.0 projectors in there with and white/amber switchbacks for the signals.
